What is Twelve24?
The Twelve24 window represents the most unevangelized group in the United States and likely the world, young-people aged 12 to 24. Twelve to 24 year-olds represent the largest generation in the world. 95% of the close to 900,000 people aged 12 to 24 in Kentucky do not profess to be an active Christian. Even our “churched” kids are walking away from the church after High School at a rate of 60%.
Kentucky Baptists are currently engaging only about 145,000 teens via Sunday School. Given that 60% of our churched kids are walking away from their faith after High School, our current engagement strategy is only retaining 40% of those in which we are investing so highly.
Kentucky Baptist Campus Ministry exists to help the local church make a difference in these statistics.
With less than 5% professing a relationship with Jesus, the darkness is vast and requires an engagement strategy appropriately prioritized and focused on taking the light of Jesus into the darkness so that more may encounter Him. Kentucky Baptists are currently engaging about 145,000 teens via Sunday School. Given that 60% of our churched kids are walking away from their faith after High School, our current engagement strategy is only retaining 40% of those in which we are investing so highly. Let’s change the statistic and put the priority where it needs to be to truly revitalize Kentucky Baptists and position us to engage the darkness with all that we have in the future!
We exist to help churches discover, develop and deploy followers of Jesus to reach the Twelve24 window.
We will help you develop a strategy to deploy students, parents, teachers, administrators and others to engage Twelve24 Campuses through LIFE Groups.
Students will be developed and deployed as LIFE Leaders to lead a LIFE Group before or after school.
LIFE Group Leaders will be equipped to engage their peers with the Gospel over a repeating 4-week cycle.
We are called to engage and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Effective engagement involves a love of God (Matthew 22:37) with all that we are that produces love of our neighbor expressed through our divine design (Matthew 22:39). This engagement begins in our Jerusalem and extends to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8)
