I was flipping through books in the local (Hazel) bookstore, looking through the Christian Inspiration section, and I came across a disturbing flyer that was inserted into the pages of the book I was reading. I then looked in the next few books near where I had taken the one I was reading, and I found there were flyers placed within THOSE as well. I went to the Bibles and found the flyers were in EVERY SINGLE ONE! The flyers basically warn readers that the book they are holding is the cause of terrorism and that somehow Christianity endorses so many evil things! Mysogny, hatred, etc. I was really saddened. I've noticed the voice of unbelief becoming louder over the past couple of years, and it really concerns me that there are groups like this placing their propaganda in our holy books! There was a web address on the flyer, so I went home and looked them up and apparently it is some band from California and they are doing some big campaign against God! I share with you the link here to a blog I found from someone in Texas, someone who isn't saved but who also found a flyer. We know that our God is a healing God and I pray for complete healing for my uncle. I pray that God’s will be done. If my uncle is to go through this cancer part of his life, please pray for God to comfort him during whatever lies ahead and that he and his family will be comforted just knowing that he is hands of our Almighty LORD. Pray that God works in his life that whatever God’s plans are he will continue to glorify God through this very tough time of his life and for him to always feel God’s presence. If God’s will is for him to be healed may GLORY shine through to those who really need to see the miracles of our God. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. He was taken away April 1, 2009 because of false accusations. Pray for his son we don’t know what they have told him about his Dad. I got to see him May 2 for 1 hour and he was not the same energetic boy that I know His ex wife has also falsely accused him of a serious crime because of the divorce and custody battle. Court is on May 6 for the criminal accusations. Please Pray the Judge, District attorney and prosecuting attorney will see thru the lies and dismiss the charges. Pray for J's lawyers in both cases, that God will give him the right words to defend him. Pray for J that he will trust God and stay strong. On May 15 he goes to court for custody of his Son. Pray for the Judge that he will see the truth. Pray that on May 15 his Son will be returned to him.
